o   a more comprehensive community benefits from the new owners of Waterbury Hospital for a healthier Greater Waterbury for everyone.

   a coordinated city response to threats and bullying based on religion, and

   better jobs and better care to help seniors age at home.

  • Prepare for the NVP Annual Convention, and 
     
  • Celebrate Our Unity and Our Community

This event is open to all members of NVP member and potential member congregations, labor union locals, housing cooperatives.

IVP/NVP Local Leadership Institute at NVP Saturday, June 3rd

This Leadership Institute will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. John's Church, 16 Church Street in Waterbury from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Join us to learn organizing and leadership skills.  For details, contact Barbara Therrien at the NVP office.

InterValley Project (IVP) Summer Organizing Institute

The InterValley Project (IVP), a New England community organizing network made up of NVP and 6 other organizations across New England, will hold its annual IVP Summer Organizing Institute from Thursday evening, July 6 through Saturday afternoon, July 8, 2017 at Rolling Ridge United Methodist Conference Center, North Andover, Massachusetts.

The training will be offered by experienced organizers from IVP member organizations and cover Why, What and How We Organize

This is a great opportunity to meet leaders from across the region and learn from them and talented organizer/trainers. Contact NVP for additional information about the institute.
